Ok, It's been a while, but I finally got the chance to realign my outboard. It was not centered, tilted to the side, and way too low. Once I get the Ranger up and moving, I'm going to rebuild the transom on the Vagabond as it really needs another inch or so.
Raised the port side 1" Raised the starboard side 1.5" This is how much it moved.

My orders usually ship out of Atlanta. If Atlanta does not have it, sometimes it ships out of Chicago.

I made 2 orders yesterday and they arrived today. I must be close to a distribution center.

Before the virus If I ordered by 6:30 PM I would get it the next day.
Now it’s two days and I have to order by 4:00 to get it then. Never doubt the wisdom of dumb question’s.

McMaster-Carr ships in one day. This could be dangerous.

I have serious trouble getting my DR up on plane with two passengers in the rear seat. With just two in the front I have no issues but add two more to the rear seat and it goes nose up and won't come back down.
With two tanks, a full size battery and an anchor back there the added human weight, my wife and son total 250 lbs, is too much to overcome. I need to move weight forward. 1952 Deluxe Runabout 1963 Gale 40hp

That's a lot of weight in the bow of the boat...

This is something I've been thinking on for my new build. I'm leaning to one single large non removable tank. I'm shopping boat grave yards for a below flooring tank with a tapered bottom that will fit in the bow.

And the venting I'm referring to is not tank venting, but my rear cover venting to remove fumes from the enclosed area. Though it is open in the back.
