Also at the meet was a '56 Vagabond. The forward deck was two piece. I don't recall seeing that before. It also had an interesting decal on the bulkhead. Sorry I could not get a good picture but it says "Safety Equipped" "Styrofoam" It was covered with a piece of plexiglass.

Sober boater coming back to camp from a beer run in my 50 Utiliy before it got dry docked, 79 Johnson 6 hp pushing it up the Etowah River that feeds Allatoona lake, Ga.

Met Chip up at the lake for some more sea trials with the Gale 40hp. Ran good after a bit of needle fiddling. We were on the water putting about for around 3 hours. Need to get the original lower unit back on with its proper prop, deal with some rattles, and adjust the throttle as it keeps sliding back off WOT. All in all a good day and the DR is back baby.
