What are the numbers in the first column of the Chattanooga Marathon?
Those numbers are the HP of the motor.
Remember, it's 1948.

That is what I thought, but there is a 50 Evinrude. Did Evinrude make a 50 hp motor then?
Keep the prop wet and the humor dry.

I would gladly do it, running with my 25 HP Zuke. My friend Mike Tilley and I brought his Vagabond up from Chickamauga to Arrowhead a couple years ago. There's a nice public launch ramp just above the Chickamauga dam, where we left our car & trailer. My wife picked up the car & trailer a couple days later on her way up to Arrowhead. That's the trick with such a race - you either need to make it a round trip, or have someone bring your trailer up for you!
