Ice fisherman are nuts. But I enjoy walking around in freezing cold water.

When you can't be out on the water, you might as well be out on the water.

I have lots of pics of it but will not steal that fun from Marc of posting his new baby. His new 58 is very different from my 59. Besides having different transom heights, the floors in the 58 look like his old hawk 2 with diagonal stringers. It also has split front walk through seats while my 59 has longitudinal floor stringers and a full width bench seat with wood back like his old hawk 2. The 58 also does not have trim tabs or the extra little kick up at outer edge of the hull bottom that my 59 has. Really similar outside but lots of differences inside and down in the water.

Have you seen any photos of the bottom?
We have seen a variety of bottom designs in photos of different Clippers.

No Ray, I have only seen the pictures that chip posted here.

But I will get some bottom pictures once I get it home.

First deal in the books! Next Saturday I'll be heading down to Georgia to seal the deal on the DC.

That picture from Larry looks about right Rick. The boat came from Maine. That boat sure looks fast just sitting on the grass, wonder how will do on the water...
