Flyer transom wood getting spar varnished. 





 

Looks like a nice place, with calm waters.

Camped for the week end at Allatoona lake. 3 FC's, two 58 Larks and a 59 skipper. One Lark out of our 3 couldn't make it.

This afternoon as far upstream as I could go on the Chestatee river. About 55 miles, solo.

If you look at the third picture on top of the gunnel behind the steering deck you can see a patch where the original oar lock went. Oar locks were moved to the forward seat. If it was factory it was an afterthought but it was a good job. I don't think the steering wheel emblem (painted) was factory.

That is a normal deck for a 56 Vagabond.

At the AOMCI Florida Chapter meet on the Suwannee River was an interesting '54 Topper with a mid deck.
