My 47 Up Up and out of the way.................... 20 Jun 2017 01:47 #74987

It is made by Racor Sold on homedepot.com only. Holds up to 250 Lbs. $156.55 and the model # is PHL-1R Called Heavy Lift Storage. It does not have a motor to lift it. It can be raised by hand or it has a fitting for a drill to adapt and raise it up that way.

I have something similar, just not as purty. I can run straps underneath or hook on to the bow and stern handles. Also useful to mount outboard motors.

Mike,

I like it, looks great. Post some info with model number that you ordered. I can not tell from the pictures but is there a electric motor to crank the boat up and let it back down?

very cool........i like it............ :shades:
just from the pics i see, "sorry just being a carpenter here".......would that unit also work rotated 90 degrees......reason asking........am pretty sure your ceiling joist run front to back of the garage around 14-16' (if i am mistaking disregard my thoughts).........mounted the way you have, your load is only on two joists.......if it was rotated 90 degrees then the weight can be shared amongst 4 joists.......just a thought i had, and wanted to share......still love your thinking about making space......... :hello:

How High is your ceiling? I was thinking about something like that for my Ranger but with a custom cradle instead of a cage.

I bought this set up from Home Depot online. Another Feathercrafter a few years told me about this . I installed it this morning to get my 47 in the garage and out of the way. Pretty cool. It says it will hold up to 250 lbs. It is 4x4 ft.
