Yep, put my calipers on the floorboards and they measure just a hair under 3/8" (~0.370").

Thanks, JR. Fantastic pictures in that thread. Personally, I like the idea of using the clips with a thin insulation material between the floorboards and the stringers.

Someone speculated that the clips may be designed for 0.5" plywood. My floorboards seemed a bit thinner when I removed them yesterday for pictures, but I will measure later today to verify.

Thanks.

Alanblitz posted them under a thread called "floorboards rattling" but I don't know how to transfer those photos to this thread.

A year or two ago someone bought a boat that still had the original clips on the floorboards and posted pictures of them. Maybe someone looking at this post will post a picture of them again or if they have some would post a picture.

I'd like to see what one of those clips looks like. Any chance one of these clips still exists or a picture/drawing of one??

Those floorboards with the slots in them are original. There were clips that fit into those slots that held them down.

That really looks like something they should have continued.

Locomotion wrote: I would like to see more photos of the front floor, it has a type of structure I have not seen before where the stringers are tied together like they are. Is the rear floor done that way anywhere?

These stringers look just like mine, which isn't too surprising since they're only a couple months apart in production. The middle 5 stringers are tied together with inverted 'witches hat' sections in 2 spots; there and just aft of the front seat pan. like Rod's

I wish mine looked as good :)
