Personally, I like the idea of using the clips with a thin insulation material between the floorboards and the stringers. Someone speculated that the clips may be designed for 0.5" plywood. My floorboards seemed a bit thinner when I removed them yesterday for pictures, but I will measure later today to verify. Thanks.

These stringers look just like mine, which isn't too surprising since they're only a couple months apart in production. The middle 5 stringers are tied together with inverted 'witches hat' sections in 2 spots; there and just aft of the front seat pan. like Rod's
