An Eagles fan's life is fraught with pain.

I was at a bar one time listening to a female Eagle fan argue with two Steeler guys. This girl knew her sh*t but finally one of the steeler guys slid the cellophane off his cigarette pack, turned it upside down on the bar & asked her what it was.

"AN EAGLES SUPERBOWL TROPHY CASE"...she was not amused- I thought it was hysterical

I really do think Vick IS SORRY and has been going all out ever since to combat dog fighting...incl speaking to high school kids at assemblies about how horrible it is.

When it all came out no one hated him more than me but he stepped up and I forgive him.

The rear frame of the trailer should be even with the transom of the boat

You want to make sure you have proper support, bunk rails for example that support the hull all the way to the transom. With the support going partially back to the transom, you will put too much stress on the hull, especially once there is a motor on the boat. Once a motor is on the boat, your trailer that is under the boat has too short of a wheel base. There will be too much weight behind the axle, making it a nightmare to attempt to tow and you are asking for disaster. You want the axle set back far enough to have 80% of the weight loading the axle and 20% on the tongue. This trailer is simply too short to properly carry the boat and it doesn't look like you can adjust the trailer to properly correct the issues.

If you are using the present trailer as just a stand... then you should be okay, just don't add a motor or add any weight to the aft section of the boat.

The boat looks great! The Hawks are nice boats. Good luck with your restoration, you will find these boats are well worth the effort. Extremely well built boats. Ask many questions, you will find whatever answers you need here. And post many pictures, these guys are like Mother's that love sharing pics of their kids and seeing everyone else's prides of joy.

Hummm trailer ?

When we found it the trailer had sat in pine straw and was seriously rusted . We plan on rebuilding it with the original hardware . We have to get some 2 1/2 pipe to do so. What kind of problems will we run into in the mean time ? What would it take to properly support it ?

I expected the short trailer comment to come from Pittsburgh...
