Small world, Russ. We picked up an Arkansas Traveler in October right near the River Styx bridge and will restore her this spring. Should look cool with our Mark 55 hanging on the transom.

Thanks everyone! Nice to meet you. Yes, the mahogany is solid with 7coats of marine spar varnish and I used Thompson's water seal on the floor boards. Stainless carriage bolts were used all around and acorn nuts on the inside of the transom boards with a bedding compound. The oarlocks need some work also.

My brother and I have quite a few (lost count) vintage outboards ranging from a 1920 Evinrude row boat motor to a Merc Mark 55, most of them running.

It does look significantly better with the merc installed however... :woohoo:
