I always wanted a GT550. Had several GT750's. Still have a very trick GT750 but the pistons are stuck in the cylinders. That will be my next major bike project after the Yamaha is done and gone.

Here is mine, 1981 Yamaha xs650. Obviously not stock, hard-tailed, lowered, straight pipes with baffles, low apes, no horn, no signals, minimal electronics, springer seat, custom tank and fender. I call it my zip code bike as I pretty much wont leave my zip code on it, not because it is not reliable but it is not much more than a seat on a motor.

My first and only bike was a Bultaco 250. Everything on that machine was opposite, but man-o-man was it fun !!! I drove it over the rivers and through the woods.
Maybe I should get another mini-bike.....

I was 22 and stupid. Lots of scary fun, though. Could have been worse, I looked at Kawasakis...
