HAAAA !! Ninja,,,,,,You mean Rag doll. Dan I know exactly what you are talking about ! Teonia came down while I was hooking a chain around the trailer to straighten things up..I told her to get back..She moved about 5 ft..I said no,,,up to the front porch,,,this accident might not be over..The first thing my buddy of 35 yrs says,,,Did you have your Go Pro on ??? Tells me that every week..Thinks I'll be a millionaire right up to when I get killed. The thing is,,I felt this coming..for 2 days now..I knew that feeling ,,was cautious,,slowed down double checked everything I was doing..But you can't fend off fate..All you can do is wait it out.
This is a good example of why we don't need extra people standing around. Imagine a bystander in the wrong spot.
I have a little machine, a mini skid steer, about 2,000. pounds. When I'm running it up a ramp sometimes Audrey is standing around watching and I tell her to stand back far enough that if the machine were to come off of the ramps and crush me, were to crush my head, etc, that she would be far enough away to not be injured and for her to be able to call 911. Stand back, I might get killed.
We all get lucky so many times, often we don't even know it.
Pull-A-Part has an online search engine, you can even set it up to e-mail you when your requested vehicle has hit the a requested lot. It is a first come kind of place and if you get there second your part might be gone and they do not know what parts have been sold so you cant call and ask, gotta go in person. That said I've had good luck just walking the lots, they only keep older american at the South Atlanta lot, a Dakota might be considered "older" as they were, you know, 20th century.
