That's tough.  The cable steer is so common.  Perhaps you need to vote that boy out of control.....You know the one. His Daddy was just as incompetent.....  UhOh.   Too political.  Sorry.  We are worse off right now.

Big bad Jon

yes boatcrazy said he would be able to help possibly in a couple months after their new project is completed. Also syd said he was digging for something.
the point is here no there not that accessible where I am, and if I were to purchase here or eBay or even Eastern Canada I’m looking at exchange rate plus 1-200$ shipping.

i swear living on the pacific coast damn there’s got to be something here. But I’ve posted wanted adds on all used websites, I’ve check marine salvages, antique shops etc.. ive got people looking unfortunately it’s just been another hurtle.

thx

I'm surprised you are having no luck with cable steering setup.  Lot's of info here and folks that have wheels.  Call Charlie....

I’m starting to think this when it comes to my steering!! Getting quite tired of looking for drum steering and not finding appropriate set up other than delivered needing restoration for a whopping 500$.
a newer set up 1/2 the price and local.
it’s killing me not to go era correct but will soon mean waiting to put boat in water.. next couple months boat should be ready for a first dip without steering lol

Rocketman
I thought it was interesting on yesterday's cruise that of the four boats we were 100% 4-stroke. Three Tohatsu and one Suzuki. Sort of sad in a way.
Hopefully Chris did get his fuel tank connector problem fixed.

Reliability is key for boating. The Love for the boat never dies though....

I've worked on so many old lawnmower motors, motorcycle motors, and car motors, I just wanted to go boat riding. However, I do have a '57 35 hp Evinrude, so my motor fixing days are not over yet. I think I am starting to get a little better at it.

I'm not a stickler for vintage, period correct anything when it comes to these boats.  They speak for themselves.

For Fall color on the Emory take a look at the month of December on the 2021 calendar.

Looks like it won't be long till the leaves are at peak color.   When they are, the same cruise might look like this one.

Thanks Dave for such a great production.
