Thanks for posting those very informative websites, Dan. Looking through the Rentals section brought to mind the idea that some attendees might want to consider renting a place while in the area. Food for thought, if nothing more.

Not to sound like the Smart A** that I've been accused of being, it depends to a large degree on how much rain we get. I've seen Cherokee up well enough between late May and early June to provide excellent boating. So meeting up in early Summer could work well.
Fwiw, some years ago, I attended a Town Hall type meeting hosted by the TVA. During that meeting I recall them stating that the reason they start bringing Cherokee down in early July is "to maintain navigable water for commercial traffic in the MS". I'll definitely keep this thread updated with regard to lake levels next year. Keep on smiling through the rain

Al in your experience what time of year are the three lakes full? It looks to me like we should aim for a GTG date that is about mid way between the two Arrowhead meetings in 2023. You are on the front line. What do you think? |

Thanks Rob. I've had it off for a week or so now for the firewood delivery season but it will be back on in time for the Liar's club GTG and probably be on all summer.

I was just cruising Norris this part Saturday. It was low but there was almost nobody there. Please excuse the wind noise.
