On Monday after returning from AH, I started feeling like I might be coming down with a cold or the flu. I generally felt kind of blah. Taking into consideration that both Carol and I have had two rounds of the Phizer vax, we weren't overly concerned that it might be Covid. Tuesday and Wednesday I felt generally lousy but by Wed PM, I was starting to bounce back. During that time I had shown no fever, and my blood oxygen saturation was in the normal range. This is about the time Carol started feeling lousy. By Thursday I had improved enough to drive up to the lake and install a new water pump impeller and thermostat in Carol's 18ft Rinker. Tough guy, I am. Carol felt crappy Thursday and Friday but had started coming around this morning. She decided to go get tested and had a 4:00 appointment this afternoon. We were surprised with the positive test results she got back late this afternoon.
We don't feel too bad, annoyed mostly. Neither of us can remember our being around anyone who might have been infected during our stay at AH. Apparently our having had our two rounds of the vax had given us a false sense of security and we let our guard down once too often. We could have picked this up anywhere.
Like Chip mentioned. Stay alert.
We hope everyone stays well.
