still planning on attending if they open up the border by then!

We could hook up and cruise accross in our boats, in the stealth of night cover, 6ft apart of coarse, Marc knows a good crossing from his younger days

Ha, I sure do! Dozens of crossings in the stealth of the night and never got caught

We are in. I wonder how long it take to cruise down from our place (upper part of lake st. clair).

Is there docking at the campground and or motels?

Glad to hear Steve, sounds like we have some feather crafts getting together!! B) I'm lovin it!

As far as you coming down the Detroit river, I would advise not to. The river would probably fine, it's when the Trenton channel opens up to the big lake When things can get rough. From the mouth to my house it would take probably an hour, On a calm day.

Camping and lodging are not on the water.
The campground is very clean and nice. Just 5 miles north of me.

Marc,

How are the water levels down by your place. We put the boat in the water to go and check out the cottage this past weekend. The island took a major wash over. We got water in on our porch, floors were still damp. Hopefully we will get a nice weekend so we can open all the windows to help dry it out...

That stinks Steve. The water has been high all winter, went down for a week or so. But all it takes is a strong wind from the east and we are right back up. Hopefully it warms up so you can get some fresh air inside.
