The wife and I have been up that way a number to times to attend a vintage go kart event held annually in Avon. In 2016 we hauled our 12 aluminum boat and 1955 Johnson 10 along to take in some lake sights. We managed to see about half of Keuka Lake while staying at the Keuka Lakeside Inn in Hammondsport and the next day we did the complete run of Conesus Lake. Big fun. A few pix:

What I was thinking was getting together on Cayuga Lake and running around on the northern end of the lake maybe even going a little bit up the canal towards Seneca lake, there is a lock at Seneca Falls. There are a couple of nice restaurants on the northern end on the west side. I will have to check I also believe there is a winery up that way that also has docks. Anyways something to think about. I first have to get up there and settled in the get our daughter a place to live down here in NJ that a person just out of college can afford. Then get my wife up with me. But this gives me something to look forward to. Hopefully we can make this an annual thing.
