Ray that was nice of you to reach out to Louanne about Friday night dinner. Thanks for doing that!
I think your right about staying safe, let's not ruin our hard work over one dinner. I think we could get a really better idea about the weather as time gets closer.
I think a good idea could be; let's get a head count on who would want to have dinner under the Arrowhead guidelines.. if there is enough interest we could then keep an eye on the weather one week before Louanne needs to know, then make the call from there.
We should start a thread "Friday night dinner thread" to keep suggestions, comments and headcounts to one thread.

Louanne has suggested a Friday evening dinner with picnic tables setup on the lawn and a serving line that passes through the store and out the side door of the boat parts side of the store.
She would need at least a full weeks heads up and a head count of intended attendees. The first possible problem is the possibility of bad weather that evening (and we all know it can really rain at Arrowhead in September), that might send people into shelter on the porch of the restaurant and the porches and breezeways of the motel, or even inside the restaurant, all of which are close quarters for the current health situation.
What we would never want to risk is the possibility of bad weather resulting in very low turnout that stuck Louanne with unused (and unpaid for) food.
The group can kick it around and see where this goes.
Unfortunately, I have issues that keep me from feeling safe at even an outdoor picnic table full of friends so don't think I'm a snob if I don't share a table with anyone!
