Safe travels.

Mike, we'll miss ya for sure at AH but if you are making the trek to Yellow Jacket the week before, Carol and I will most likely meet up with you there.

With any luck, Yellow Jacket will be our "extended" sea trials for the '57 Rocket Tu. Can't think of a better place to sort it all out.

We are looking forward to heading South and North to the Great State of Tennessee.

ONLY THREE MORE WEEKS!

Several of us have been cruising down to Arrowhead for a "Best Burger" or an Omelet and to visit with Louanne to discuss our upcoming gathering. As last year the restaurant is normally closed on Monday and Tuesday but Louanne will open for FeatherCraft folks only for a breakfast and afternoon meal on those two days. Otherwise the restaurant will be open 8-5 the rest of the week.

The last two years Louanne has closed the restaurant Friday afternoon to the local folks and had a great BBQ buffet with all the trimmings for us. Last year we had over 50 people which is too many for the social distancing guidelines in the restaurant so we have been discussing other ideas. Current thoughts are to move the display stands out of the store area and set up the buffet so people can come in the front door and move out the side door to picnic tables set up on the lawn in front of the motel. The weather forecast a week ahead of time will determine if we can do this. Also we each need to decide if we are comfortable with this sort of group event.

It is time to start an attendance sheet of how many are coming to Arrowhead so Louanne has some idea of her staffing needs and particularly how many want to participate in the BBQ (weather permitting). Some of us are at a higher risk for large gatherings and may prefer to avoid the BBQ. Louanne needs to know how much BBQ to prepare.

So let's all be flexible, safe and have a great time. (By the way if you need to talk to Louanne about your room reservations, e-mail would be better than a phone call this week before Labor Day.)

Nick

P.S. The last two cruises to Arrowhead were on water smooth as glass for 20 miles.
