They make ice cream at the Sunnyland ACBS show in Tavares, FL every March using one of those old hit and miss engines. I have a little Maytag hit and miss engine in the garage that I run once in a while.

We had rain till 10:30am then clear sky. Very big vendor craft sales and BBQ food vendor cook off. Live music stage. Half dozen motor guys, with good display from legend Jesse Anderson ,who gave race info on Paul Allison back in mid 50 with Merc Iron Fist Carl K.. I guess Paul A will be inducted in some sort of Hall of Fame next week,??. Backyard region of Charlie D, Boat Crazy. Prior owner Tom Williams ,Atlanta region attended. A few pics attach. A few good swap items were offered by race local Roger.

I read the event info on the motor board from TK Walker sounds like fun. . Years ago the Life Force helicopter would land there. Should bring some stuff.. I I believe Roger H is clearing out his motor attic and bringing buckets of Stuff.!

The Mid-South Outboarders chapter of AOMCI will hold their meet at Louisville, TN on October 20. The meet will be held at the City Hall/Fire Hall where it used to be held several years ago. The meet is being held as part of Louisville's Octoberfest so there will be other things to see. Jessie Anderson said there is plenty of room for boat/motor "show and tell" as well as swap meet. Bring your boat and stuff and come on over.
