That'll do it every time. ;)

Common sense has become so uncommon that I now consider it to be a super power.

Thanks for stepping up and towing that fellow in. That was a big piece of plastic! I was tied to him first and my motor died. I figured I had fouled spark plugs as it was my first time towing with my 40hp. Come to find out my fuel line had come off of the motor.

Arrowhead is a small resort and the fall meet looks to have a lot of interest, I would suggest early reservations might be a good idea.

Sounds like a lot of fun, 8 hour dive is not bad. and your right this boat could see water in a weekend. I will start hinting around about the rendezvous to my wife...

Marc,

I went last fall to Arrowhead and made a quick stop this past weekend, business trip, really and am so glad I did. I have NEVER had an experience like it. It was overwhelming that just can't be explained, must be experienced. Absolutely amazing! And then we did some spectacular cruising in the boats! You will experience a group of amazing people who will treat you like you are family, and from the side of family you actually like! I have never felt so welcomed by a group of virtual strangers up to that point who welcomed me in and within 5 mins, felt like we are lifelong friends. I cannot tell you what this group means to me and is the reason i am so energetic to help where ever I can. I drove an extra 9+ hours round trip to personally deliver seat cushions that could have been easily shipped. I didn't because this gave me the opportunity to see these guys, meet new Rivitheads and I did not regret it one bit, even got a 1/2 boat ride out of it and I am thrilled to do so. Just sorry that complications got me in so late on Saturday. I missed out on seeing a couple guys I would have liked to share some time with.

It is about an 8 hr drive for you.

You better! That boat is in too good of shape to make excuses about getting it ready. No reason to enjoy it as you progress. She can be up and running in just over a weekend, or if you are anything like Jabe... it would be running by sun-up, cleaned, new interior, motor rebuilt and painted... trailer would look like new and you would have a pile of aluminum Old Milwaukee's that equal the weight of the boat sitting on the ground empty
