50 Something



50 Something comes home in November 2017,  Special thanks to Dave Innis for coming with me to look her over.





I call her 50 Something because when I got her the serial number was covered up.  What is it?   A 50 Something, a 54 as it turns out. 


Cracked supports replaced, new transom wood, quarter sawn oak, of course.


Failure to fix leaking seals in lower unit of 1961 40 hp Lark iV.


Call in the pros at the Rivet Rendezvous, Neil, Dave, and Steve have the lower unit apart and fixed lickity split.


Darlene coils a rope, Jabe admits nothing.


Flywheel disaster, Sawzall to the rescue!
